I am at work and oh-so bored. I'm only 3 hours into my shift too. Thankfully I brought my laptop and some DVD's for some major time-killage later. I'd actually REALLY like to go to Subway down the road and get a five dollar (five dollar) footlonngg. But I have this extreme paranoia that the minute I leave the desk unattended all 9 remaining check-ins will show up. Gah!

In more interesting news, there is a man staying in 109 that I originally thought was pretty cute and kind of interesting because he was hermit-like and super quiet. Well, I've talked to this guy quite a bit since then (2 weekends at work) and have now determined he is 50% batshit crazy and 50% Jesus-freak (the two definitely overlap though). He is an emotional basketcase that loves The Hills, golf, and getting DUI's (back when he used to drink and fight people...and drive cars) - but loves Jesus even more. He's also exceptionally nice and brought me a delicious mango smoothie from Panera. Oh, he also brought me a flower....that he picked from outside the hotel....and was placed in a book about Jesus as a bookmark. Half the time he's hitting on me...the other half he's trying to convert me to his crazy-Jesus-lovin' lifestyle. (Ex: "You're just too pretty to not go to heaven.") I can't make this shit up people. This guy is fucking weird.

Otherwise it has been a pretty mellow weekend. No one's been at the house...which is sort of lonely, but it also means I can pee with the bathroom door open and walk around in my underwear! I'm definitely excited for Tricia and Fara to get back tonight though!!! (T - I just got The Duchess in on netflix!)

In general though, I miss everyone in our house and how we all used to live there at the same time. We've all got busy, different lives going on and it's hard for us to all be at home - but I think sometime soon we should do a roommate-gathering or have another big bash a la Farita's bday. What do ya'll think? Ooo..we should almost make a facebook group too so we can coordinate schedules efficiently.

So I hope everyone's week goes AWESOME and they pretty have the best days ever all the time. You are all amazing, lovely roommates and friends, and just people in general. Love you guys (Miss you too)!

P.S. - My ma says I can have people up to the cottage in August as long as it's not the first week of August. Thoughts?

Hello ladies!

I hope we don't forget to use this. I really love reading about everyone's day. Especially when it's Justine's day because it makes my own day seem so much more worthwhile (j-k, j-t). 

So today Chelsea and I woke up to my 2 year old nephew playing the drums (which are all the way in the basement and we're upstairs). Prior to this he was running up and down the hallway downstairs yelling, "hello charrrlllles." Oh, speaking of Charles, my sister-in-law had le bebe yesterday (on my birthday)! His name is Charles (charlie for short [!!]), so he was practicing saying hello for when he met him. He sounded a bit british because his two-year-old pronunciation hasn't quite perfected the "r" sound. what came out was really "chahles." quite hoity toity. it was cute. and now i have a cluster fuck of nephews and nieces (total=3). 

Today Chelsea and I visited le bebe Chahles and then went shopping. It was bitchen. Her parents came tonight and are actually sleeping in their camper on our driveway. We had a quaint little dinner with my parents, and it went swimmingly. she leaves with them tomorrow. She was just telling me she forgot to write a note thanking all of you guys for letting her stay. She had fun. I think. 

So as you all know I'm taking macroecon at MATC. I really enjoy it actually. I just wanted to mention that my teacher wears red suspenders almost everyday. I hope I can come to a point in my life where if i like something bizarre then I won't give a flying hoot what other people think about it. But then I'm like, "wait, I don't want to become psycho and wear red suspenders." Okay, double take-what's a 'flying hoot' anyway? And when did I turn 98?

 

I may go to Florida in august. Not sure, but I think disney world will be involved. I'm excited. 

I love you guys a lot and am so blessed to have met you. I can't say it enough! I loved every birthday gift you guys got me so much. They were all so thoughtful and still make me smile. My birthday party was tremendous!! I propose we get the margarita jug more often.
